A child named Dylan arrived at school overwhelmed, a state too big for words. A Toley Ranz plush was placed in his arms. He gripped it. He settled. The storm that worksheets couldn't reach, a small soft character did.
A child once unreachable by the usual tools, Dylan began communicating not only with Toley, but with his mother at home—a change she described in the days that followed, and perhaps the clearest statement of what this character can do in a real room with a real child.

The activity book in a real school system
His son worked through the Honor Code activity book, and then asked to keep going.
A father in the New York State school system describes the effect of the activity book on his son: a child who had been written off by the usual channels re-engaged on his own terms. The detail that stays with you is the simplest one: the child asked to keep going in the workbook. That is the behavior of a child who has found something that meets a need, not a task being performed for an adult.

Naming what this is, and what it isn't
Formal efficacy data does not yet exist for this work. The evidence on this page is anecdotal and testimonial, strong, specific, and drawn from real classrooms and real families, but it is not a clinical trial.
Naming this directly is more credible than letting an investor assume more rigor exists than actually does. A real study is one of the gaps capital would close.
