IP Asset #1: The Methodology

The BEFORE Framework™
the credibility anchor.

A prevention-first developmental methodology: six named capacities a child builds in sequence, a practical bridge model for real-time use, and genuine clinical grounding. This page is the most deliberately serious on the site.

The developmental arc

Six capacities, built in sequence

Each letter of BEFORE maps to a distinct inner capacity, from the first body signal to an empowered, chosen action. Present as a developmental arc, not a checklist.

B01

Body Signal

Body awareness, noticing the first internal shift before it becomes a feeling.

E02

Emotion Named

Emotional literacy, naming the feeling beneath the body signal, without correcting it.

F03

Focus / Presence

Presence, the child slows to listen inwardly before the reaction takes over.

O04

Openness to Self

Openness, the child's inner knowing is treated as valid information, not noise.

R05

Regulation Tools

Regulation, a calm, chosen response rather than a flooded reaction.

E06

Empowered Choice

Empowered action, acting from alignment and self-authority, not fear or pressure.

Clinical grounding

Built with genuine care, not assembled for marketing

The Facilitator's Guide draws on established concepts: interoception (the perception of internal body signals), attachment-informed practice, and Internal Family Systems. It includes real scope-of-practice and ethics guidance. This single detail does a lot of credibility work: it signals the material was constructed with developmental rigor rather than packaged as a curriculum product.

The BEFORE Bridge Model™

How a child actually moves through this in real time

The six elements are the architecture. The Bridge is the crossing, the repeatable, child-centered path from reactivity (the AFTER) to self-authority (the BEFORE). The adult holds the tone and timing that make the crossing possible.

Pillar 1

PAUSE

The child recognizes the first internal signal and pauses. Prevention begins here.

Pillar 2

THINK

Reflect without judgment. The child listens internally before reaction takes over; names the feeling.

Pillar 3

RESTORE

Reconnect with the internal compass, what feels true, safe, right for them, not the external demand.

Pillar 4

ACT

Inner authority in action. A choice made from self-connection, not fear, overwhelm, or compliance.

“The bridge is not meant to be lived on; it is meant to be crossed.”

The inner sequence

Body Signal → Empowered Action

The movement a child makes, in order, before a chosen response. This is the BEFORE sequence, made visible.

1

Body Signal

The tightening, heat, or breath shift arrives first.

2

Named Emotion

The feeling beneath the signal is named, not corrected.

3

Discernment

The child listens inward before reaction takes over.

4

Inner Authority

The inner voice is trusted as valid information.

5

Chosen Response

A genuine choice, not compliance.

6

Empowered Action

Acting from alignment and wholeness.

What this page deliberately does not include

The metaphysical or consciousness framing that appears in some of the source material is kept out of this page by design. This stays strictly in the developmental-psychology register. That material is fully present elsewhere, one click away, in the founder's story and full bio, but it is not load-bearing for the investor decision.

The commercial half

The Framework is the credibility engine. Toley Ranz is the commercial engine, a character system that externalizes a child's inner voice and makes the methodology livable for kids.
